Memory 01
A man with blond hair and mismatched eyes calls out to Silence—her real name sounds garbled in this memory, of course.
The sitting room they're in is immaculate, with expensive furniture and high ceilings... but it's all torn up. The curtains over the large window looks as though lions have clawed at them, the single fainting couch looks to have been stabbed repeatedly, and the wallpaper is pulled from the wall against its will.
Silence has to step over a pile of torn stuffed animals just to reach the man.
"Yes, Master Vincent." Her voice, her face, it's all devoid of emotion.
He hands her a bouquet of flowers: deliver this to none other than Gilbert, he says while smiling sweetly.
With a curt nod, and without further comment, she departs; from the corner of her eye she notices her master reach for a pair of scissors and another stuffed animal.
Silence breezes through the halls of a wealthy manor that's actually cared for, past a couple chatty maids, through the gorgeous front garden, and towards the city.
It's all familiar to her, and her navigation through the winded city is practically effortless.
Eventually she reaches a seedy part of the city, an area that looks much less prosperous than the manor she came from, and walks down a narrow alley. Approaching an old apartment, she shifts the bouquet of flowers to her other hand—and she winces when she moves her arm, throwing her now free hand over her shoulder instinctively.
"Even though that was only a few days ago, it still hasn't healed..."
She collects herself quickly as she climbs the stairs and walks down the hall—where she nearly steps on a blonde teenager, about her age, laying on the floor right in front of the door belonging to the man she needed to get these flowers to.
His eyes fasten on her, and she merely looks down at him, her head tilting in confusion. Before she can think to say anything to this stranger, he faints.
...
"What a hindrance," Silence mutters to herself, as she drops the flower bouquet beside the unconscious boy and leaves.
Memory 02
pg12 - pg17
Silence is sitting on a roof, observing the festival on the streets, when a familiar boy catches her off-guard. He calls her ████-chan, but clearly it's just ████! Her correction is instinctive, done without thinking—she quickly realizes who she's speaking with.
They sit on the roof together, catching up and engaging in small talk. Eventually Silence's rooftop companion remarks how awesome festivals are and, at Silence's inquiry, shares how he's never been to one due to his sheltered upbringing.
Suddenly Silence pulls out a book, narrating as she writes in it.
"3:50 in the afternoon. For some reason, I'm feeling rather lazy, and Master Oz Vessalius has appeared."
"Eh, wha, what is that?" Oz asks.
"A diary."
"A diary?"
Silence doesn't stop him from reading her observations; there's an excerpt on a guy whose wig was blown away by the wind, and a note about a woman who knocked a guy's lights out—she even commented on how great the punch was. As Oz comments on the oddity of this diary, Silence states that this is her first time seeing a festival, too, so she needs to record it.
"████ needs to record everything that is seen by these eyes."
Her voice is somber and her eyes are distant.
With only a moment's hesitation, Oz exclaims that seeing isn't enough—she has to join in! As she protests, he grabs her by her hands, pulling her up. Her plea is weak.
"Please let me go. ████ just needs to... just needs to look at it, that's all. And... it's not a world where people like ████ can just enter..."
Oz laughs, asks her what she's talking about—and tells her it's St Bridget's day! As he pulls her away with him, he explains that it's a day where you can hide your identity... and pretend to be someone else!
Memory 03
pg21 - pg24
Standing in the hall of a prison, Silence is fondly looking over a morbid-looking stuffed bear, one that has a noose around its neck. After a moment, she pats the bear... then nods to herself as if certain of something or other.
She continues onward, reaching an occupied cell guarded by two figures in red cloaks.
"███████?"
"████-chan!"
That's right—they call her two completely different names.
"JUST ████!"
...she quickly apologizes for her outburst. Awkwardly. It's awkward.
Upon being asked why she's here, Silence swallows hard—then suddenly calls out Lottie's name, dashes over to her, and shoves that morbid stuffed bear in her face. In fact, Silence just holds it in her face for a good a moment before finally speaking.
"Take this."
Lottie stares.
Silence's face is grim and serious. Forceful, even.
"It's a Jyanta doll that was on limited sale this year during the St. Bridget's festival in Reveille. I'll give it to you. So please... give me five minutes..."
...
Lottie bursts out laughing. She excuses herself, explaining that she needs a breath of air, and her hooded companion follows after her with Much Complaint and Confusion. Silence is wiping a tear (fake? real?) from her eye as the red-cloaked pair leave.
Their voices echo through the hall... and now, Silence is finally alone with their prisoner—none other than Oz Vessalius.

UPLOADED THE ENTIRE THING
Summary:
- the person in the red cloak is stringing people up like puppets, taking delight when the man (Gilbert) has to shoot them
- there's talk about people escaping the abyss, throwing people in the abyss
- she even strings Gilbert up, using a giant monster lady suspended from the ceiling
- of course, she tries to manipulating him into attacking his old friend, before getting shot herself and escaping
- the center of this memory—the cheery sadist in the red cloak—is referred to as Zwei
Memory 05
UPLOADED THE 9 PAGES HERE or you can read a transcript of it below:
Silence, wearing a blood-stained red cloak, lies surrounded by Gilbert and Oz. She's covered head to toe with fine lines and deep cracks.
Just then, her legs break apart into dust.
Silence chuckles weakly and smiles—despite her poor state, she seems at peace.
"Whether I stopped Duldee or not, █████'s body had already reached its limit. Master Oz. Even the long lives of the Baskervilles... come to an end... but in █████'s case, the end came much faster." You get the feeling she's talking about Song here.
Silence stops, widening her eyes with a quiet realization she's keeping to herself. Her eyes are gentle once more.
"████... does not know... did I really do the right thing? Of course... no one... can answer... that..."
She tearfully clutches the front of Oz's jacket, still smiling softly.
"And that is... exactly why... I had to stand up... for what I believe in... for what I'm not ready to compromise on."
With both hands clinging to the front of Oz's jacket, just so she can look him in the eyes, Silence calls out to him. When her hands break apart, she slumps against him, alarming Oz.
"I'm taking... █████ with me... we leave together."
Oz tries to interject, repeating Silence's real name, but she speaks over him each time.
"█████-chan—"
"I never... properly thanked you for what you did on Saint Bridget's day. For the fireworks... and the hairpin..."
"█████-chan..."
"You made me... so happy..."
"█████!"
He calls her name, without the honorific. And Silence? She's caught off guard. Her eyes glimmer as she chuckles to herself again, slumping further against Oz.
"You finally... said my name right... it itches a little... but it's not so bad..."
She smiles widely.
"To leave like this..."
With that, Silence dissipates into dust, leaving only her red cloak behind in that world.

---> READ HERE <---
HIGHLIGHTS (ie what ur character might be able to gather from w/e the heck i just asked u to read)
- They are in a blackened city! The buildings are black, the sky is black--it's pretty fucky!
- Zwei, Echo, and Duldum are ALL name-dropped, none of that is censored!
(Zwei = Song | Echo, Duldum = Silence)
- Oz stands between Zwei and his sister, Ada--holding off Zwei's knife
- ECHO PROTESTS, NO COME ON LET'S LEAVE I DONT WANNA BE HERE, referring to Zwei with a censored name BECAUSE WE CAN'T HAVE ENOUGH NAMES HERE CAN WE
- except Zwei is hella entertained by her distress, using this to insult Echo and harass Oz at the same time
- Zwei refers to Echo as "her echo," a disposable personality who is meant to disappear!
- she also refers to Echo as Duldum, which for those at home with a good memory: it is the same as that giant BDSM marionette from that one memory (which you can handwave seeing if you want)
- anyway Zwei goes on: how CAN'T you hate Echo, she DECEIVED you, WE killed OSCAR whoever the fUCK THAT IS--but Oz defies her and goes on to say that Echo is NOTHING like her
- which causes Zwei to snap! literally! with yelling and hurling insults as marionette strings are sent FLYING, ripping into pavement and buildings and glass alike while entangling some strings around Ada's limbs, IT HAPPENS PRETTY FAST
- After getting everything under her control--while sharing her GREAT plan to fuck Oz up while Echo watches, to then detail everything she made his brainwashed sister do to him when she comes to--ZWEI IS SUDDENLY SHOT IN THE SHOULDER
- cue random-ass shit happening, such as now there's a guy (Oz's dad??) with a gun, cue Oz's dad getting attacked by Ada while Zwei lays on the ground and screams, cue THIS BUTCHERMONSTER COMING IN
- the memory ends with Zwei attempting an attack on Oz, only to cry that EVERYONE KEEPS GETTING IN HER WAY, EVERYONE NEEDS TO DISAPPEAR D':< ... before running away
